Born in 1980 in St. Pölten, I initially trained as a classical concert pianist at the conservatories in Salzburg, Vienna and Cologne with Anton Czjzek, Noel Flores and Klaus Oldemeyer. This included successful participation in various national and international piano competitions. In addition to solo performances, I have devoted myself increasingly to chamber music and new music in recent years and founded the pianoduo elaeis together with the Cologne pianist Jovita Zähl.

From 2008 to 2019 I worked as a lecturer at the Cologne Music Academy and as a piano teacher at the Richert Music Academy in Cologne/Merheim, the Music Factory in Cologne-Niehl, and the Rochus Music School in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. In 2019 I returned to Austria, since then I have been teaching at the music school in my hometown of St. Pölten. Performances as a pianist and composer include Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Cologne and New York, both as a soloist and with orchestra (Vienna Chamber Orchestra, ORF Symphony Orchestra and Bruckner Orchestra Linz), as a song accompanist and in piano duet.

Composing as a second artistic expression came to me later, I deepened it in 2004-2008 in composition studies with Friedrich Jaecker at the Musikhochschule Köln. There I also received decisive artistic stimuli. So far, I have mainly written piano, vocal and chamber music works ranging from duos to quartets. In 2013, I founded the Cologne composers' group zeitKlang with some fellow students.

As a third manifestation of my life practice, Tai Chi Chuan was added in 2001, which I first learned from Bernhard Scholler as part of the ITCCA, and from 2003 from Andreas Heyden in Cologne. 2014-2019 I taught at the Tai Chi School of Karin Frentz in Leverkusen-Odenthal.
